Australian Shepherd Adopts Kittens

G'day Dog Lovers,

Have you heard about Lakota the six-year-old Australian Shepherd who has adopted a litter of orphaned kittens?

Lakota used to share a house with a cat who was sadly hit by a car a few weeks ago, leaving behind several kittens. Owner Robert Nesseth called around to Seattle-area vets after the accident to see if anybody had a nursing mother available but nobody did, so the kittens were brought home and the family braced themselves for the hard work of hand-raising them.

But then Lakota stepped up to the plate and has been taking care of the tiny bundles of fur ever since. It's an amazing story and you can watch the video here...
