G'day Dog Lovers,
In early May, American Humane once again celebrated their Be Kind To Animals Week. This annual tradition started in 1915 and lets people commemorate the role that animals play in our lives, promotes ways for us to continue to treat them humanely and encourages others to do the same.
More info about the week can be found here...http://www.americanhumane.org/protecting-animals/special-events/be-kind-to-animals-week/
But this got me thinking, should I be doing more to promote and encourage the humane treatment of animals. In my view, you can make a difference merely by performing a simple act of kindness or compassion towards animals.
Whether it's offering to take the bored dog next door for a walk or just making a $2 donation to an animal welfare charity, you can make a difference. What kind act have you done for animals lately?

Great article - thanks! Its so important for people to do their homework when choosing a dog to add to their family. If you're interested in Great Danes, Danish Broholmer's or Danish Swedish Farm Dogs, here is another great site to consider http://DanishDogs.com
Thanks for providing such a great resource. Your site is one of the best, and i will definitely refer it to my site visitors.
